Hurricane Maria Anniversary Planning

September 20th 2018 marks the 1-year anniversary since Hurricane Maria devastatingly hit the Island of Puerto Rico. Due to the deep and shameful negligence on part of the U.S. government, as many as 4,645 people have lost their lives since the storm hit last fall.

In conversations with Mijente members across the U.S. and on the island, we understand there is a lot of work that needs to be done to both reconstruct and hold those in power accountable for the conditions on the Island. That is why we're calling for a National Day of Action on September 20th to uplift the Puerto Rican struggle in the aftermath of the hurricane.
Join us August 2nd at 6PM Eastern Time to learn more about how to plug in.
